Introducing Action Items
Today, Baton is launching Action Items. With Action Items, you can now organize your conversations about a potential acquisition all in one place. You no longer have to juggle email chains, text messages, and phone calls.
We know that speed and discretion are essential for a successful transaction. Now, buyers can communicate directly with advisors on Baton’s deals securely on our platform. You can now ask questions and schedule meetings with the M&A advisor and the owners immediately.
Build IOI’s Quickly
Are you ready to draft an indication of interest (IOI) or an informal offer on one of our deals? You can now use our IOI Wizard to quickly draft deal terms and let our team know you are serious about acquiring the business. You no longer have to find time to jump on the phone or send an email with deal terms.
Buyer Profile and Introductions
You can now introduce yourself to business owners with Buyer Profiles and Introductions. A buyer profile is created for you automatically during onboarding. This profile contains your professional background, residence, and LinkedIn profile. You can edit this profile anytime underneath the “Profile” section.
The first time you express interest in a listing, we ask you to provide a brief explanation of why you are interested in this listing. Our M&A advisors use this introduction, along with your profile, to inform the listing owner of who you are and why you are the best fit to acquire their business.
Thank you for reading! Your feedback is invaluable to us. If you have any suggestions, feel free to reach out to us.
